Now I Have to Remember You Longer Than I Have Known You...

Pet loss is often disenfranchised grief. You do not get PTO or community support for it, but for you, your life changes. Your routine, support system, grocery items, sleep, holidays, so many things are changed, and yet you are expected to go about your day-to-day like nothing has happened. Your loss and grief are recognized here. There is nothing that can ever be done to take away your grief, but there are some things that may help you along your journey.

Prints

Creating prints of our animals paws, noses, or even keeping piecing of there fur allows us to hold space in our home of their memory. It can create a nice keepsake to things of the wonderful memories you have of them to remember the joy you brought each other.

Memorial

Having a designated spot in your house, yard, cemetery, or even location you spread their ashes on as "their spot". A placed for you to visit and think of them.

A Project

Often times, it can help us to do something in our pet's honor. Such as a donation in their name, or another prime example is creating awareness regarding the loss such as this very website.
